What is Nata De Coco in Mango Bango
Nata De Coco as the name suggests is made from fermented coconut water. It is translucent in appearance and tastes so good. And, it tastes even much better when it is combined with the Mango Bango Recipe.
Due to its neutral and chewy characteristics, Nata De Coco is ideal for shakes, desserts, and drinks like Mango Bango. When you eat them, it will give you a nice kick of coconut flavor absorbed in it enhancing the overall experience.
It is mainly made in a cube-like structure which further adds beauty to the recipe. These translucent sweet cubes feel a little chewy when eaten. More on this later.

Tips for the Mango Bango Recipe
- As a first tip, it is very important to consider the quality of Mangoes, as it is the main ingredient of the recipe. So, it is always recommended to choose ripe and sweet mangoes for the best flavor. If you want you can consider using Alphonso, Ataulfo, or Champagne mangoes in the recipe.
- A balanced approach is always a good practice while making this recipe. If Mangoes are very sweet you may add less condensed milk to balance out the sweetness.
- It is also very important to maintain the consistency of the juice. If you think it is thick, you may adjust the consistency with a little alteration for a smooth and creamy consistency.
- When it comes to using dried Nata De Coco, soak them in the water so that they become soft and plump.
- If you are using a packed Nata De Coco for the recipe, make sure to rinse it properly before using it.
- The recipe will taste good if served fresh and cold. So, as a good practice, you can use chilled mangoes, coconut water, and nata de coco before blending.
- If you want to add further freshness and flavor, you can use fresh mint and slices of mangoes when finally serving.
- If you want to be a little innovative with the serving you can use the lime wheel or sprinkle some coconut flakes.
- For a better experience, it is always recommended to consume well after the preparation. You may also chill your serving glasses before the final serve. For a nice presentation, you may use tall glasses over ice cubes, this will add further beauty.
Do you know, you can have a Bango Mango Iced Tea. For this, you need to brew some black or green tea. Once brewed, let the tea cool down.
Next, mix the tea with Bango Mango puree and prepare as directed above. Your new Bango Mango Iced Tea variation is ready.
Final thought
It is better to prepare Tapioca Pearls in advance so that you can add them instantly while preparing. Tapioca Pearls come in different sizes.
It means different sizes need different times to boil. Small-size Tapioca Pearls take comparatively a little less time compared to bigger ones.
If you want to save more time. You can use cold milk and a cold mango blend. Or else, you can add ice to your tango bango. Regregerating this recipe as mentioned in the steps above is optional.
To bring further sweetness, try to get the best quality sweet mangoes from your nearby stores. The better the mangoes, the better will be your recipe.
Last but not least, the combination of mangoes and Nata De Coco, makes the Mango Bango the perfect beverage for summertime.
Feel free to come up with your version by adding different varieties of mangoes and adding new ingredients. If you are going to enjoy it with your friends, you may add some mango-flavored rum for a better experience.
Further adding fresh mints and lime juice will make this recipe even better in taste.
